I guess the thread has pretty much gone dead. Received EAD card today, three weeks before my interview. And went ahead and got another medical done just in case.

Congrats!!! Good luck with your interview! We’re still waiting! Vegas office is SUPER behind! :(

Thank you! I was actually quite shocked by how quickly the response was. San Antonio seems to be pretty fast and my visit for biometrics let me know the office itself isn't very busy so they have lots of time for scheduling.

When we went for biometrics the office here in Vegas didn’t seem that busy either... so I have no idea what is taking so long! USCIS website says it’s taking 14 to 24 months!

10 -16 in San Antonio. My interview comes around the 9 month mark so I guess we're some of the lucky ones.

I know you said NBC but Phoenix AZ is looking at 15-23 months I believe. Longer than others I've seen (except for NY and CA). I hope you hear something soon. Paper AP but no EAD??? Very strange.

Yeah I know Phoenix is notoriously slow (another upcoming headache for the actual Green card altogether...🤦‍♂️), but I was under the impression that NBC handles EADs and APs, apart from biometrics obviously. Yes the paper AP is strange. What irks the hell out of me is that it took 2 months since AP approved to print and mail me this simple piece of paper. I missed a trip a month ago and USCIS couldnt give me an update on the status of this approved AP. This is so frustrating, feels like I'm the only one in this thread without an EAD, let alone interview date or green card.

I feel your pain. I received my EAD less than a week ago and my interview is next month. I'd been waiting for it forever and now it's like what's the point?! They need to get going with your EAD! I wonder what the hold up is.

For those that have already done the interview, can you provide some feedback about how it went? Also any advice on what to wear?

After 225 days, 4 Service requests and an expedite request, my EAD shows as "approved". Hopefully I get it soon unlike my AP which took more than two months from "approved" to received.

Why AP took so long fom approved to received? I'm waiting my AP third week after approval and I don't know what to do
