+ 1 @Arv18

Thanks folks. I got a "checklist" letter saying there is a missing doc in AOS review but they are scheduling the  interview anyway. They need me to send W2's for 2016 directly to the applicant.

The problem is I worked in US for 3 months in 2016 and my W2 income is less than mimimum. Was working in India that year.

Can I have my spouse submit my W2 for 2017 and an updated AoS reflecting 2017 total income ?  I dont have any more W2's for 2016.

Yes. I did it in Mumbai. They do tell you if everything is OK on the same day but you have to go to collect your reports the next day.

The biometrics was quick. I was in and out in 10 minutes

I am not sure what the correct answer is for your question.  I would lawyer up if you can afford or reach out in the forum in your own thread to get more responses from expats.

In my opinion you have to have a W2 for 2016(As that's the query for your case)  your spouse's employer's CPA should have this copy), You may use most recent Tax return w2 with 2017 only if they ask on  an interview day , if you get interview date after Mid aprril (Most likely they ask)

Hi. I think we have a case complete today 2/8. We haven’t got an email or so, neither did I call them and asked. But CEAC said At NVC. Is it still possible to get an Checklist?

Got my CC today, and our embassy is in Iceland so I'm super excited and hoping for a quick turnaround with the interview scheduling. If it is fast, it will be the first fast thing to happen in this whole process!!!!

Although I really shouldn't complain, compared to being stuck in the Nebraska Service Center with USCIS, NVC was a breeze!

Best of luck to everyone here :)

Congratulations🎊

Think positive of yourself that you don’t have a checklist, you have a Case complete and that’s FINAL! .. Stay blessed
