Thats a good point you have made. If we get our interview date after April 15th we may want to take the 2018 tax returns documentation.

is been 2 day since I got schedule and still haven't gotten a email.... anyone know how long it takes thank you...my friend sayuri hows your luck have you gotten schedule for march

@sibz @harsh2010 @Jatinpatel027 Guys any idea how long would it take if visa approved on interview day before we get our passport back? And side question: do we receive the packet with passport that we turn over at POE?

Based on my research, i see people getting passport back within a week or less. You get the packet after the interview i believe. i read somewhere that

in India , from Mumbai embassy , the passport comes back fast , i have heard you'll get it in most cases like less then a week ? or 2 weeks max , 

also I think you get that sealed envelope packet with your Passport  should be in same courier etc.

Do we have the option to pickup rather than mailing? I am asking because I want to come back with spouse if everything goes well but the unknown factor on how many days would it take  to receive the passport back is concerning me because of work situation. Not many holidays are available.

There should be an option to pick up when you go online to select delivery method before interview , 

I believe my brother picked up his passport , and his was done in 3 days
