Hi all,

I love this site-people who get it and understand the feelings involved in filing a K1 and missing your fiancé terribly. So we got our NOA1 on 29/12/17- when approximately should we expect NOA2. I believe in preparing for the worst and expecting the best. I’ve set myself the goal of end of Sept 2018. Would this allow enough time for POE to be by the end of year.

Thanks for for your time to read. I miss him terribly and know there are people waiting so long for NOA2. To all them people-I pray you get your NOA2 really soon.

Your beneficiary is from UK, and that shouldn't pose any delays...but estimates right now are running about 9-10 months. September 2018 would be on the lower end of that estimate if things do not get worse as they have the last six months. To be on the safe side, I would not make any big plans for September just yet. It's better to be on the safe side and wait till NOA2 (where the major delay seems to be right now).

Who knows, the USCIS may start working faster as they did in the years previously!

I am the beneficiary ha!

No no I mean End of September 2018 for NOA2! Man-I’ll miss my United Kingdom and it’s politics (Brexit fascinates me). No but I hope that we should expect NOA2 by the end of September- just wandering if this is realistic?!

Thanks :)

Oh Man! You've got a big heart for such estimate.

WHATTT? NOA2 in September?

C'mon! I have a feeling you would get your NOA2 by June, NVC# by July, Interview by August, POE by August-September.

Okay Now, enough of the estimates, the fact remains that you will be with your other half before the end of this year by God's Special Grace!

Congratulations in advance!

Im truely blessed. Jake took my life by storm. I had a psychic reading down 4 years ago and they were chanting USA several times (I’d never been) and told me there’s a guy waiting for me same age. Well I was on holidays treating my mum as she’s raised us all on our own. Our eyes caught each other and by God I’m thankful, grateful and he’s the most amazing person ever. Thank you soooo much for your positivity. My birthdays in October and God that would be he such a special present to have him and look after my wee man by then. I always think of the worst and hope for he next in life. Thanks love 😘

Fill in your timeline and it will give you an estimate, not 100% accurate as it is based on data from people on this site so relies on people filling it in but it will give you a rough guess.

We have that done already but I don’t rely on that too much as it would be inaccurate due to delays for the past 6months of 2017. But thank you

September filer here. My beneficiary is also in the UK. Be prepared to have two months tacked onto your timeline as the year progresses. When I filed our petition in early September, our timeline estimate for NOA2 was around this time. Now our timeline estimate is late March to early April. I would say that September is a realistic estimate for NOA2.

It definitely is a bit easier for UK to US couples, as there are less instances of fraud to watch out for.

Im from NI in the UK! No I’d be happy enough for September-hoping the worst but bright eyed for the best. I just from NOA2-POE can all be completed before Christmas! Keeping the faith :)

Country really does not affect the general timelines of noa2. If the name gets a hit, which also can as English names are also common it gets a hit.

September would definitely be a good worst case scenario. As yes September filers etc got changes in the timeline of abut 2 months, however if they go faster it also decreases. (For example As finally july came a little strong and we went back about a week in total)Unless they get to 270 days for noa2 it probably won't be that late.

Watch what will happen 2 months before your case (so in your case how October cases will go) to estimate. But if you already ok with the worst case scenario don't even bother about it because most likely it will be before September.
