Since you expedited your EAD .. did you previously have an EAD? I have one (used to be F1 on OPT) but mine expires on 5/31. Technically... I should get a new one before that date but I am getting very nervous now since it is taking much longer than expected. Or should I just call for an update? What are my best options here?

I was also on OPT and mine expired 10 days before new expedited EAD got approved so I did not have to wait long. It does not hurt to expedite if you already have a job or a job offer. You could apply under severe financial loss and supply documents from your employer. If you have time and liberty to wait then just wait. I don't think it will be much longer for EAD to get approved.

hello! was your interview notice correct (did it say "marriage-based interview")? This just happened to me too.

The interview notice that I received by mail is correct. It was only the online status that says employment-based. Apparently many other people who got called for interview relatively fast (~3 months after filing) have this same peculiarity.

Thanks. I don't think it's the timing thing, because I filed in August but it looks like I've gotten the same weird mix up. 

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Watching the Feb Filers thread.

 

Eg. 1 & 2 - Dec 27 and 26 were just approved 4/25

Eg. 3 - Dec 21 was approved 4/21.

 

I assume those in Jan should be soon enough.

1/12/2018 - Official Priority Date.

1/17/2018 - NOA1 electronic copy received - 4 Email and Text notifications (12:30am EST)

1/22/2018 - NOA1 Hard Copy Received

1/26/2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received - 2/9/18 (For I-485/I-765)

2/09/2018 - Biometrics completed - Charlotte office - Very efficient!

5/30/2018 - Notification of i-485 Interview scheduled 

6/4/2018 - Interview notice arrived in Mail (July 9)

6/4/2018 - Called to request transfer case to Seattle (Moving June 25)

6/14/2018 - I-765 - Card is being Produced (Day 156)

6/21/2018 - EAD Card delivered (USPS tracking sent 2 days earlier)

6/28/2018 - Confirmation of Interview Cancellation

04/22/2019: received notification of RFE for AOS I-485

06/01/2019: RFE finally received after being lost in the mail, asking for a new medical exam

06/06/2019: Response to RFE sent, received the next day 06/07/2019

06/17/2019: Received notification of another RFE, 3rd time will be the charm hopefully

06/22/2019: RFE received for new medical

07/02/2019: Went to doctor for new medical

07/11/2019: I-485 approved without new medical exam

07/18/2019: Green Card received in mail

We got our interview notice in the mail today for the end of May, so about a month out from today!

No updates online yet for uscis.gov or dhs.gov sites. No word on EAD or AP.

 

Gotta get started on medicals and interview prep! I know you guys are going to start seeing stuff in your mailboxes soon too!

Removal of Conditions Timeline

03/31/20    - Sent ROC package to Dallas, TX by USPS. 

04/02/20    - Delivered to Dallas, TX by USPS.  

04/08/20    - Received text message from USCIS stating original receipt to follow in mail and a receipt number starting with SRC

04/09/20    - Check for $680 cashed for USCIS Dallas

04/13/20    - Received I-797 NOA for I751 ROC which extends expired Green Card by 18 months

Awesome, thats some great news. I plan on scheduling an Infopass on May 15th just to try something at least. Good luck preparing

My medical was in December - I notice some people do not send them the 693? or they need to update it? Only worried as my TB test was in end of June 2017.

Medicals appear to be valid for a year based on the information given to me. Because there is a chance that the interview and filing date might be more than a year apart, my lawyer recommending not sending it as part of the application (yes, you get a yellow form saying that you haven't submitted it!) but rather doing it when I got the interview letter. I think you should be good with a December 2017 date as long as it is sealed etc.
