I was wondering, for the I-864 affidavit of support.. What am I submitting, The w2 of the IRS transcript? Because I'm getting different answers and I don't want to get REF.

What different answers are you getting?

 

You'll see everywhere in the forum transcripts are the highly preferred method cause that's all you need.

Send your IRS transcript. That's what NVC require

The transcript is the simplest and least error-prone option. If you don't send the transcript, then sending the 1040 + all W-2s (or other forms showing income) should be sent.

NVC does not require the transcripts. They just require the tax return, which sending the transcript easily satisfies this requirement.

That's not correct, its one of the options that are accepted, they're easier for everyone but its not required, tax information is required.

OP, as others have said, transcripts are the easiest.  One thing I'll add is make sure it is the "tax return transcript" that you obtain from the IRS and submit.
