It's currently taking anywhere from 75-140 days for EAD approval/processing, with very few lucky filers waiting less than 75 days and very few unlucky ones waiting over 140 days.

I have been waiting a total of 201 days since my initial filing. However, when you take into account an RFIE that reset my application, I have been waiting 139 days. I have put in two service requests - the first wasn't acted on as the agent who took it mislabelled it in the system. I am now 16 days away from the deadline for the second service request.

Good luck!

I applied for my EAD/AP on the 29th of September, USCIS receive date was 2nd October, biometrics completed on Nov 6th and yesterday (Dec 9th) i got two approval letters in the mail for both EAD/AP, just waiting on the card arriving next week! So in total it took 2 months and 7 days, much faster than expected!

Here is our timeline:

10/3/2017- mailed packet to USCIS.

10/7 - package was delivered

10/10 - received email and text

10/18 - received letter from the mail with MSC number. We were able to check our case online right away.

11/9 - appointment with bio. Took approximately 5 mins to get everything done. No one was at the ofc getting their bio done except me and my wife.

12/11 - today, we just received approval notice for both AP and EAD! 😃😃😃

When do you usually get your card in the mail after getting the NOA? Also, i would just like to point out that our case was not updated at the tracker. It still says fingerprint received and case received. Thanks!!

The 2 lucky filers above don't represent average processing times. There are still many August and September filers waiting for EAD/AP.

I have a similar timeline as you, including an RFIE that we sent back on Oct 16. Hopefully your approval is coming soon!

Thank you, I was surprised at how quickly I got approved to be honest, wasn't expecting it for another month or two! My case is based on a pending I-485 :) Hope you get yours soon!
