Same here. I have tried to look up our Receipt # on USCIS website. It has been almost a month (Nov 17), but the website still says the receipt # is invalid. Wondering if I should make a call to the NCSC for an explanation?

It has been over 3 months since we received the I-797C Receipt and the USCIS website still says my receipt # is invalid. Any advice for following up would be greatly appreciated!

I have called USCIS and I spoke with a Tier 2 Rep and they said as long I have the I-797C receipt that they have received the case and that it is a glitch in the system and just to wait until they fix the glitch..... (PD:11/17)

Many thanks, Fmert001. Your answer made me feel a bit better. We've tried to call USCIS from overseas many times but didn't have a single chance to talk with a real human-being. And each international call lasted for at least 15 minutes. I'm also anxiously waiting for my phone bill by the end of this month. Should we start getting our congressman involved?

No because we are not past the priority date and it’s a known issue. You are very welcome

Yes you’re right, and i think they’re making progress. They are proceesing july now. Hoping next month or april for good news. I thought  it will be easier if your spouse is active duty 😔 but maybe no.
