Congrats @Zombie69, I'm sure your husband would be proud of you :)

Thank you for your support. Yes, we did it together. I would not have become a citizen without him. He is smiling in spirit all the time. Best of luck if you are still waiting.

Guys, just want to share with you about what a naturalization certificate looks like. These are difficult immigration times. You will eventually get there like I did. This is your ultimate goal and you gotta have hope in the midst of challenges while doing everything you lawfully can and by using the limited resources from USCIS to monitor your process of adjudication. You will have to submit the original certificate and a black and white photo copy of it, along with the passport application to apply for your passport after the naturalization. You You can also pay 30 dollars more to apply for passport ID that will allow you to travel to Mexico, Canada, Bermuda, and Carribean without having to carry your U.S passport. The total cost is 175 dollars. Passports are issued by Department of State. DOS will mail your certificate back once they issue your passport/passportID too. Then you can frame it for your personal use! You can also register to vote right on the spot. Hang in there, you are almost there. It is very emotional at the ceremony too. Fingers crossed and good luck.

Well I don’t have a green card just the one year extension in my passport and I will be going for my oath ceremony tomorrow. Let’s see how that works out . Wish me luck guys . The two years green card was taken away from me earlier this year when I requested for the 1 year extension

Welcome. The online update system is not always reliable about 751. I got my 751 approval online update and got my approval letter, but 10 days later(751 approved on 4/26/2018), the approval was reversed to pending status saying my 751 had been transferred to NBC that had the jurisdiction over my case, and it is still saying that now as we speak, lol.  I was naturalized on 5/23/2018. So no worries, you will just be ok. Enjoy, it is so exciting!!!! I did not get my 10 year green card.

Heck, the online system appears to be a mess all around.  My wife still received notices about her case even though her oath was over a month ago.  Like you she has her certificate and now passport so we simply ignore them.

That is not surprising. Out if curiosity, what kind of updates have she received? 751 being transferred to a new office?

I don’t remember the exact wording, but it was something like your case is still in process, but there is no update.  I believe it was related to the N400.
