hello friends after RFE received, how long will it take for approval?? anyone have this experience?? the waiting is so frustrating😔😔they told me I should wait for another month.. it has already been 4months..

Oh man, I can only imagine your frustration. I also got an RFE but I only filed in August. Apparently it’s 90-120 days on average right now, add to that an RFE.... I wish I had an answer for you. So after 90 days you requested service on it and they told you to wait another month? Is that correct? From what I’ve read, your case is sort of paused until you respond to the RFE. Did it take you a while to respond? Wishing you well.

You can try to expedite it with a job offer, call USCIS for an expedite request based on financial hardship and they tell you the process, it may take
3 weeks though and you may have it by then anyway.

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Thanks dear... yeah waited about a month to respond coz was collecting all documents.. my PD is June 27...  I had Request for initial evidence in July 21. Then after sending documents they received it september 7.  When It was 75days I did service request that was early september and they told me they will reply on Oct 3 which they didn't. So after waiting few days called them and they said wait until Nov 23rd if you don't hear anything till then call us back...  i guess request for initial evidence makes your process starts from 0. 😔😔

I’m sorry but that’s exactly what they say. If they require evidence or extra information, your whole process goes back to 0 :(

The RFE does not reset the process but pauses it briefly until received.

It does start from 0. If it's request for initial evidence.  But if it's just request for evidence it pauses until they receive. Mine was initial 😔😔

I disagree. Even though the USCIS web site mentions that it re starts the process, many  members here
received EAD/AP soon after submitting the request, initial and just RFE doesn't matter. What happened is that the processing time went from
90 days to 4-5 months.

Exactly. An RFE or RFIE pauses or reset the clock for submitting a service request, per https://www.uscis.gov/forms/tip-sheet-employment-authorization-applications-pending-more-75-days. However, I haven't seen a significant difference in actual timelines (not counting days that the RFE/RFIE was outstanding).

I hope and pray that's true... I really want to get mine asap...it has been almost 4months now.. so that's normal ha?🤞🤞
