Brilliant news for you, congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, did you go for N400 too? It seems not many Oct-17 filers who've also filed for N400 are getting ROC approvals.

It seems they sent out a bunch of cards today - all cases that have had no status update after the local office thing. Now the case before mine was transferred and the one after was approved. Mine still untouched. I did see some clustered approvals, like 2 or 3 in a row here and there.

     my case was also transferred, have no idea where it was transferred too, but it was transferred yesterday. I'm tired of this process do not know if I should or shouldn't apply for N400. This whole thing is just draining, what amazes me is what justifies some people getting approved and other's transferred, like does that mean their cases are clearer than others??? just a poor system in my mind.

It depends on the adjudicating officer that has your file. It's been known that the workload has increased recently and they are trying to distribute the cases between service centers. You probably were transferred to Texas but keep an eye on the notice because it will tell you where it was transferred. October WACs have been transferred recently, so dont worry.

Does anyone know how to easily find the latest copy of our list? Is there a master template somewhere or do we need to find the most recent list post to add an update? Thanks!

hello mayfield, no need to worry. Maybe the transfer is a good thing, usually cases are approved within 3-4 weeks after transfer to TSC. NSC takes a little longer but atleast its some movement

I checked some WAC18019Xxxx transfers that just happened today and over the phone system says that cases are transfered to Vermont .

Mine was transfered in late November and I got approved end of Dec. Transfer is good. I'm sure like with any job some cases take longer than others - some people will have better evidence of a shared life than others, etc, etc, some will have more red flags, etc. No one case is the same, so processing time unlikely to be the same either. And perhaps some USCIS employees are just more efficient than others, or some have more attention to details (and hence slower) - so it depends who has your case.

 

The waiting is a bit of a pain, but nothing like the 9 months waiting for the k1 when we were separated by thousands of miles. I was just thankful during the time that I was in the US with my wife, and could travel even if it was a bit of a hassle with the extension letter.

 

I haven't filed for N400 yet (was waiting to get ROC out the way).
