You get your photo taken at the biometrics appointment and that photo is used on EAD/GC right? Not the one that is sent in the AOS package?

I remember reading something about it a while ago.

Not that it's a big deal but I hate the photos I sent. :D

That is correct. The photos being used for EAD and Greencard are the ones been taken from biometrics session.

Thats weird that in online status, they actually mentioned interview date of dec 14. The actual date is always mentioned in the notice itself.

They took my 4 fingers all at one but after we did thumbs and each individual finger. Maybe they couldnt read my fingers all together and did individual, idk. thats how it was for me.

I think all that matters is ten finger prints.

It's funny you mentioned the biometrics appt photo.

My husband made sure to remind me to look good in my biometrics appt photo, because when he did his biometrics for his N-400, he just came from the gym and looking, well, like he just came from the gym. Haha! All along he thought USCIS will use the photo he sent with his application, but of course they didn't and only found out when he already have the naturalization certificate in hand. Oh man, he wasn't happy that's for sure. Haha! *poor thing* So yeah, to those who have upcoming biometrics appointment, don't do it after your gym sesh. :D

Hi, How long has it been since you received 2 NOAs in mail? You should also receive an NOA for form I-765 if you have submitted it.

Once your I765 is approved and you receive your EAD you can go to the Social Security administration and apply for one.
