received my noa2 10 weeks ago next Tuesday still has not reached NVC looks like some incompetent employee misplaced our file ,have reached out to all possible avenues congressman ,NVC research team, USCIS everyone at this point is starting to get very apologetic, my fiancé should have been here by now, very frustrated

Met on 15th of October, 2014 - started dating soon after

Became separated by the Atlantic Ocean on the 11th of July, 2015

My love arrived last night to San Diego and we spent the day with the biggest smiles on our faces! But that's not the point of this post... :)

 

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was concerned about the length of his layover And making his connecting flight which was 2 hours and 10 minutes. Mind you, he's never flown before not to mention an international flight. Well wouldn't you know, flight is delayed an hour so now he has virtually no time to go through customs and immigration. I had a back up plan in place to fly him to Long Beach and I would drive the 2.5 hours to pick him up. I waited and waited wondering what was happening when all of a sudden I get a call from a Florida number on my phone and it's him(we use WhatsApp and he didn't have wifi) telling me he made it on his original flight. I couldn't believe it but wasn't complaining one bit. It's a miracle! So last night I had him explain to me how me managed to do everything in 1 hour and he said that when he was in Jamaica he asked for assistance because he wasn't familiar with the process and because of that they basically held his hand through the whole process. He was handed over from one person to the next who not only helped him go from one place to the next but also told the person they were handing him off to that he was pressed for time due to a flight delay.  So if anyone is worried about layover times or has a loved one who might be insecure about flying alone and not knowing the proper procedure, be sure to tell them to ask for assistance!

Good day to all! Beneficiary here. FYI, this account is common account of me and my fiance.

 

Anyway, 229 days of waiting and finally got approved without any RFE at all. So cheer up guys, it will come no matter how long. Just pray and don't loose hope.
