K1 Fiance Visa Travel Ban

Timeline

The travel ban on Venezuela seems to only target government officials and their families. Fiances are generally not restricted in countries under the travel ban, but I suppose if your fiance is a Venezuelan government official or related to one, there could be an issue.

August 9, 2018: AOS Interview (Approved)

August 9, 2018: "Card in Production"

August 16, 2018: Green card in hand

Thank you Hamid, no we are normal citizens, I myself was born in Venezuela and was fortunate to move here when i was a kid. Thank you for clarifying i had not read only the government part.  That gives me peace.

As stated above as well this ban looks to be more towards the actual establishment not the everyday citizen of Venezuela. So don't worry because you should be fine.

I have Fox News on in the hotel lobby where I work and they said it's not targeted to those with valid visas, in process or with green cards. 

I'm sure you'll be fine.

Hey Paisano.... nothing to worry about....the travel ban is only for certain government personnel and enchufados jajajajaja...they did mentioned that all regular civilians will have to go through more scrutiny than usual but nothing to worry about.

Asi es, estoy de acuerdo que hicieron eso. Pues los enchufados del gobierno que han destrozado tantas familias porque han perdido a un familiar por la inseguridad, oh porque muchos de nosotros nos hemos separados en diferentes lugares. Estoy de acuerdo que no dejen a esos responsables.
