Hello everyone. We are still waiting on the green card and my wife's advanced parole is going to expire in February. This is the first time we will be renewing the AP. Do we need to pay for biometrics and/or the fee?

When did you file for AOS???? Also please update your timeline so we know what is going on with your case currently so we can better help you. You still have several months to go until your AP is going to expire and you should receive your green card by then.

Sorry for not updating the time line. I really haven't logged in since we sent off her aos packet. AOS receipt date is October 20th, 2016. Last month we got a RFE because my wife's medical exam results expired. So we need to see a civil surgeon and send in another sealed envelope. Our appointment is for the week after next and are going to send it off asap. Does it seem reasonable to expect the green card by and/or around February?

I agree with @cyberfx1024. SInce the process has taken so long and you said you have an interview soon, so am guessing you should receive your GC before your AP expires. I'd say wait until you finish your interview.

Yes, you should get it by then bar any unforseen circumstances. Be glad your having an interview because those usually go faster than no interviews. But everybody is so swamped right now that's why it's taking so long.

There is no biometrics for the AP, and no you don't have to pay anything if you send proof of having a pending i-485.
