Lol no.

It's on you to proof that you can support your foreign fiancee and it's on you to support you both. There is no extra paycheck from government just because you marry a foreigner.

I haven't been working for about 1.5 year when I got to USA on k1 visa. Sure I got my work permit 3 months after we send aos but aos itself is over 1000$. So we waited almost a year to gather money to send it and there was no "benefits from marrying a foreigner.

of course, no "extra paycheck". I heard that petitioner pays less tax....

If you're married, the tax break may be greater if you file as 'married filing jointly'. But of course there's more to it than just my statement, which probably requires your own research or input by experienced members.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

Sure, filing married jointly can result in some financial benefit, but it's obviously not a guarantee. My husband always paid taxes every year, this year we filed married jointly and got a few thousand back instead.

The deduction is $6,350 compared to $12,700 for married. If you have taxable income over $6,350 you generate savings.

That's not the amount of tax you save, it's rather a decrease in taxable income.

Haha, I guess most people will save money. I think I will save $2k but really rough estimate and what I save is not what you will save
