So my N400 is updated this morning and the new status is :

We reviewed your biometrics

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.

Has anyone had this before?

That's a new one.

Maybe it just means they received clearance back from the FBI...almost like an interim update before posting the "in line for interview" status?

Perhaps USCIS is now doing this kind of update because they get so many phone calls about whether or not fingerprinting has cleared...

I was about to say the same thing.  I be they've added that in as an attempt to reduce the calls they get.  I certainly wouldn't have called if my status had updated with this at one point.

Online status used to look like the one below at some point in time. I'm guessing this is from 2013ish because I went through my AOS, the screen looked similar to this.  I wonder if this new "reviewed your biometrics" is similar to the "initial review" from the old version.

I got the same status a day after bio metrics. Did this case status result in an interview date scheduled soon?

This is the in line status for online filers only. Online filers don't have actual "in line" status, the next update will be interview letter has been mailed....

thank you. Going by your timeline, you got the interview scheduled message a week after the "We reviewed your biometrics" status. Not sure if that is the trend now.

That has been proved to be a system glitch. Status was changed back to "we reviewed your biometrics" after they updated their website.

Thanks. So looks like its just a waiting game. I was trying to get a feel of how long it would take to get the interview letter after this particular status message and looks like there isn't a easy prediction.

I have had this message since early December 2017, about 2 weeks after I had my fingerprints taken.

No change since. Paper filer (NYC). My account says case completion date is Sept 2018, which doesn't seem can be true since I haven't had my interview even scheduled yet.

Sigh.......

I have the same status since my bio appointment. And I'm a paper filer so not just online filers have this status, I don't think they have the "in line" status anymore.
