 That is lucky, I really liked Obama as a president, he was not as concerned with looking good in the short term, but boulding something for the long runn, I feel that a lot of his acomplishments went unnotished because of that

On a lighter, funnier note; I love the gifs going around on social media (9GAG) about Trump showing the executive order and they photoshopped something hilarious/funny on it. Like his Pokemon collection, heh.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Nobody was against obama because he was black.   People were against obama because of the things he said..... I have a pen and a phone.....  elections have consequences......I won.....   he was pretty divisive.    Plus let's not forget he took every opportunity to throw law enforcement under the bus.   Exactly why we have protestors now who are stupid and try to shut down highways and put their safety and drivers safety at risk.

Guess what?  There were protesters long before Obama.  The million man march comes to mind.

Oh my god, you all made my decision about no children a little easier :lol: being 26 my biological clock does starts to scream 'HELLO ITS TIME, AAYYY BABY TIME!'

Back on topic; Republicans, it's just fine if they are pro-life, bare all the kids they want to but they should not tell me what to do with my own body and make rules for that. Teen moms are still around too much and they should be able to make their choice in having or baby or getting an abortion. And certainly not Donald, being a man - telling what I can and can not do with my reproducing organs. I'm very open-minded when it comes to subjects like this.

On immigration note; Let's go back to speculations. I really wonder if he's going to touch family based visas, any news on that coming out soonish?

In a technical way, this order already does touch family based visas for those from the 7 nations at least. If someone from one of those countries was in the process of adjusting status, ROC, or filing for citizenship... they can't now.

 

Anything is possible at this point.

Good point there. Absolutely right, didn't formulate it well enough as I was actually aiming to the K1/CR-1/IR-1 visas for every country. So even on the ROC/N-400 is a freeze for those nationals? Smh.

I am a US citizen and flying to Pakistan to marry a girl tomorrow ... will be filing I-130 for her in 2 weeks

 

How screwed i am ? :(:(

Oh man.   Hope Pakistan doesn't get put on the list.    

 

you may need to look at life over there for a while or possibly elsewhere in the meantime if they are added to the list.
