Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders says “unprecedented” actions by his supporters must be taken to stop Republicans from passing a health care bill in the Senate.

 

A Facebook Live event Monday with Mr. Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren included a call for unorthodox actions to halt Republican efforts to replace Obamacare, former President Barack Obama’s signature legislative achievement.

Yes, what does he define as "unprecedented actions"?  One wonders.  I heard that some girl was convicted recently of manslaughter for texts she sent to her boyfriend who subsequently committed suicide.  If Bernie's words are taken the wrong way by one of his ardent supporter, will he be on the hook?

I seriously wonder if he (or rather, they) clarified what that means. Logic dictates he must mean some type of Senate obstruction, but given all the violent rhetoric coming from the left since Trump was elected, I can't rule out the possibility that it could have been deliberately left open to incite violence in subtle fashion.

 

If I were the GOP I'd be wary of Bernie inviting them to any baseball games in the near future.

Combine that with prominent leftists basically calling for Trump's death and a whack job left wing extremist and you have the ingredients for an attempted assassination.

The really funny part of this, is that most of the people who are all about remodeling Obamacare, are those whose coverage will most likely be dropped, or whose premiums will go through the roof.

 

Somehow, Obama was heralded as the king of free stuff, and yet, it's all these people who voted for Trump who actually believe their healthcare will magically be free, or cost nearly nothing.

Nothing new here. People have called for the assassination of Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, and... before that. That's why the secret service is there.

Why can't everyone have the same insurance company the members of Congress have and with the same coverage? Why not give that insurance company the country's business and ask for a huuuuuuge discount?

i fail to see where he's being irresponsible and insensitive. we have a president who brags he could go out and shoot someone in the street and loose no votes. that's irresponsible and insensitive. stating that democrats need to do whatever possible to make sure millions of people don't loose health insurance, that's seems pretty legit to anyone who realizes the reason the gop is doing the whole health care thing in private. demonizing bernie is just, laughable.
