I called just now to check if my package has been received, they said yes, on December 19th but it will take up to 2 weeks to get an invoice and receipt number. So maybe by the end of December.

12/8/17- Email & Text message and website change to Case was sent to the Department of State 12/9/17 - NOA2 I-797 received in mail

12/13/17 - NVC received our case

12/21/17 - Received Welcome letter and AOS invoice from NVC thru email,Case number and invoice number assigned

12/22/17- Submit DS-261, Paid AOS fee

12/26/17 - AOS fee confirmed by bank and status change to paid in website

12/28/17 -  Received email for DS-261 confirmation and IV Invoice

12/29/17 - Paid IV fee

01/03/18 -  IV fee status change to paid in website and DS-260 open, DS-260 submitted, AOS & IV Package mailed

Check on 12/29. I got it in 7 business days

when you go online to fill out DS-261 or pay the fees. They will ask your Case number and Invoice number. It is two set of numbers. Case Number is the number for your case that start with 3 letters of your consulate in Albania.

Received the best gift a day after Christmas......the approval came today. I was going home at lunch everyday to sit at the window and wait for the mail person to come. It has been an anxious few weeks, but it was all worth it when I opened the mailbox and the USCIS envelope was sitting on top. I called and woke her up at 0230 her time to tell her. We are both very excited. Good luck to everyone that has not gotten the notice yet. We all feel your pain and hope that the wait will be over for you soon.
