I have been consistent in my belief that Comey is honest and trying to do the best job possible given the circumstances.  What I have seen consistently from all quarters is that when they like the outcome of his statements they celebrate him, when they dont like what he says he is a villain and a liar.

Comey is a Washington insider that will lie to protect his own backside.  You may find him a very credible and respected person, but anyone who is the director of the FBI and acts as he did politically last Summer/Fall and just recently is not to be believed.  And anyone that takes notes that may very well be the property of the FBI and leaks them to the press is also far from credible.  Did some of his actions last Fall help Trump over that other candidate?  Sure, but you can be happy about his actions and still find him lacking credibility.
