AOS June 2017 Filers!

I was initially told to wait 30 days before they would open a service request when I first called after 2 weeks when I was approved. When the 30 days were up, I called and got told that whoever spoke to me gave me wrong info. There is a wait time of 60 days for EAD. They will open SR for everything else after 30 days but not EAD. She said if after 60 days you still don't get your card, then it needs to be investigated at which point they will open a ticket and both times they would not transfer my call to tier 2 officer.

Did you try asking the officer as to why it's not being planned to be sent for production when it's already approved? 

 

It makes me wonder if they have certain quotas for Eads every few months or so before they go for production.

I asked her and she said she has no other info at the moment about the SR it's  not true you can raise one now I raised one on November 14th and will keep raising SRs until something moves every 10 days

Any June filers had their interviews or received their interview notice yet? My PD is 6/29/2017.

My case is still at "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received" since July.

Hey guys,

 

I had my appt 830. Got called to the back about 850. Took the oath He seemed like he would be harsh by his tone and demeanor but he only verified our biographical information, ask where we met, how many times each of us has been married, where we each worked, took copies of our proof of bona fide marriage, and said he is gonna look at our photo album but wont take any pictures because there's no way we could be denied being that we have 3 kids together. (Ages 6 , 2 and a 2 month old) that literally proved that we have been together for at least 6 years. He shook our hands and said congratulations you are approved

Finally the 60 day wait is over. They created service request to investigate why I haven't received my EAD after being approved for 2 months. Given another 15 to 30 days. Fingers crossed. Hopefully I hear something soon.

Wow... That's really tough... I really hope that they can send you your card very soon. 

If not, I would contact my congressperson. They might be able to help and / or speed things up. Just a thought for you because that's what finally helped in our case. Good luck!

Hi Tabby! Good luck to you! My ead was approved 2 months ago too and I didn't received it either, but I know it was lost in the mail cause I had the tracking number and it said delivered. Did you check with the tracking number? I sent the form again applying  for a replacement and will involve congressman due to the issues I had.

The card never went in production so there is no tracking number involved yet.

That will probably be my next step. They told me to wait another 15 to 30 days but the officers have usually responded back to me in less than a week for my previous SRs so hopefully we will find out soon.
