 By one report there are a few thousand individuals that the government seems to be aware of that they could remove, but choose not to. If the government claims they have no resources to do that, perhaps they'd better hurry up and fix that. Lives are at stake.

Lets see if those words are converted to useful action. Thus far all the UK accomplished was appeasing Muslims, and going nuts with CCTV under the premise of terrorism, which we know was a joke, and now it's, as expected, part of nanny government. Would be nice for the sake of their own people's safety if they took things a little more seriously.

I agree that some Muslim families have reported their family members, however the minority are being drowned by the inaction and silence of the majority.  For the U.K. citizens to understand that it is the MINORITY of Muslims who are radicalized then the MAJORITY have to be loud and clear in their words and actions.

 

I also agree that the relevant services in the U.K. Have had no real powers for years, this needs to change and change now.

I lived and worked in London for many years, was there and working for London Underground throughout the IRA bombing campaigns, I don't see fear mongering I see genuine fear and anger.

Except I live in the sticks now... and it's still as violent as the city. Maybe it's a rare outlier, but I think the rest of the sticks won't be immune eventually.

I would say there's real spirit in London, but there's spirit in other communities too outside of London that's equally as tenacious.
