I don't like it either. I said bye to my wife four months ago. But on Friday we got her webcam working for the first time. It was great to see her, her kids, and the grandson that I've never met. I look forward to meeting this grandson later this year when I go to see her and bring her home. We will see if it works that way.

I hate to say this but if I had to do it over I would not have gotten married yet and would have filed for a K-1. I love my husband very very very much but it just isn't right to get married and then not see each other for months.

I would do it again in a heart beat, My husband and I haven't seen each other in 16 mo. Our case is still under AP in Cario, His interview was Feb.7th 07 Wondering how much longer cant take it too much longer going nuts

I wonder if we sent this thread to all the immigration policymakers and all USCIS officials, would that change anything in the bureaucratic machine? There has got to be SOMETHING we can all do to tweak this system?

my husband and i were together for 15 months

it's been over 2 months since he left

i know, it's nothing like eight months or a year

still, i miss him terribly

some days the loneliness is just crippling

and yeah, i definitely will not recommend this path to the weak

it's really frustrating

did i mention i miss my husband terribly?

"beam me up, scotty"

"i'm sorry, captain, there's something wrong with the transporter..."

whut.

I wonder why the I130s sent in April are taking so long. Two of us at the Nebraska center were told to wait for 45 days before taking action. Since the timeline for most NOA1s are 22 days or less, we are being delayed from the start. Common sense says they will not make up for the lost time.

Well, today was another touch, but still no real answer. What is the deal here? When did wanting to be with one's spouse become a crime? Has anyone else had to hear the stories about when couples from different countries got married that they automatically received entry into the country? I guess with all of the immigration problems since 9/11, the USCIS wants to be more cautious, but still... If anyone else has received further word, please let us know.

Exactly, without a timeframe the whole process causes anxiety.

Honestly, if they would tell me that in exactly 4 or 5 month he would for sure

receive his visa I would be jumping for joy, get busy and motivated to plan

the wedding .....look forward to all the normal little things that goes with anticipating

and planning a wedding and the reunion but instead I am paralyzed and act like a deer

caught in head lights :hehe::blink: frozen in time !

It's the apprehension of fear of denial or rejection. It's like we all are expecting something to happen, but, we don't know. Like in a movie.

I HATE-- the fact that some stranger that dont even know my husband or I, has the right to say we cant be togeather. Just by denieing him a visa. And I dont think they care. There going home to there spouses. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr Dont they feel a little what we are going thru. :crying:

WOW!!!! Did they give you a reason for waiting so long to schedule the interview?

I guess I just feel bad for him you know? He's never been married before (this is my second marriage) and all his life he's waited for this....seriously waited for this......and it happens and then I have to leave, you know? I just didn't realize how much this would effect him is all. I mean I do ok most times since I keep busy with my kids but he doesn't have that type of distraction when he's not at work. :(

12/28/06 - got married :)
