Only an idiot would think 100% are bad people. However with between 1.5 and 2 billion Muslims in the world and up to 30% expressing radical sentiment or support that is many many millions of Muslims. About 3 in 10. How do we weed them out ?

Well it seems like many on this forum think that 100% are bad people and therefore don't want any of them in their communities.

All you can do is do extensive police checks. The guy who did the Manchester bombing was already known to police... not as if he had some clean record and slipped through.

So what your saying is if he gave everyone who was going to be affected time to get to the USA then the temp ban wouldn't have been challenged?  Sorry I don't believe it, the temp ban would have been challenged no matter what.

That would have been a helpful start, but no actually. What I am saying is that it would affect a person regardless of if they were inside the US or not. Imagine yourself here on a spousal or fiancé visa. You go to AOS or ROC or apply for citizenship - and the USCIS were being instructed to pull all those cases, put them in a box and basically forget about them until maybe the administration figured out what to do, maybe eventually. If had been written properly the first time and not done in a completely ridiculous manner, the legal outcry would have been less and very much less successful. And so what if it's challenged? That's how things work in a free country of checks and balances.

Like do you genuinely believe that 100% of people born in the MENA and other muslim countries (Bosnia, Indonesia etc.) are radical and want to spread their faith??

For the most part they just want to live their lives. And there are quite a few who are 100% secular.

What the world needs is an uprising of Moderates like you who admit there is a problem withing your faith and to get very pro active about it. I think its got to be cured from within and to be honest some of the stuff we have done, like invade Iraq has just mad the recruiting easier

I think in society we do need to understand that to a degree there will always be risk in life. So I get that point, however, when such a large amount of Muslims are either extremists themselves or are permissive to it, there needs to be drastic changes.

I'm all for a ban of flights to and from every single Muslim country until they settle down. It's just too bad the left thought half a dozen countries were the Muslim world, when in fact it's over 50.

We would (rightfully) not tolerate this from Christians, should not tolerate it of Muslims either.

Lol its funny though cause I consider myself a liberal!!

However, having spent a decent amount of time in Turkey I 100% agree that there are huge issues with Islam in regards to human rights, rights of women, democracy, etc. and that they are not easily solved. I just don't think like acting harshly towards our Muslim neighbors who are already here is really the way to go about making things improve.

Agree, re: Iraq.

Serious question. What do you suggest being done to stop the radical Islamic terrorists? Nuke all Muslim countries off the map? Round up all known Muslims in the US and execute them? Lock them up? Put them in internment camps? Ban the religion? What do you think can be done to stop the problem?

Good luck with this... I've been asking it for years from lots of different people. They do a lot of yelling and then can't quite figure out a solution. :(

I mean people would still be able to fly through Europe, easily. We can't even fly directly to Istanbul through where we live, so we fly through Paris any way.

European countries tend to forward the originating country information, never mind their passport/visa info on to USBP and customs. So the US knows who they are.. and absolutely should block those people too.

Ok so we just shouldn't be able to visit our baby niece in Turkey when she's born this fall because there are extremists in Turkey? That's pretty heartless. It's not a problem that's going to be solved overnight, it could be years.

There are active terror cells in German, France, Belgium, the UK, not just MENA countries, flights from there would be banned as well, right?

well there we go. I have no issue with anything you said. The problem is that we have a very vocal liberal element in the press that screams bloody murder and any mention that there might be a Human rights and terrorism issue in Islam. I think you have seen some here today, bristle and deny the attack in England had anything to  do with Islam, which is insanity To be fair we also have a less reported right that thinks all Muslims are jihadist with a pipe bomb in their car

I feel that that must be from SJWs who have never spent time in a Muslim country or seen that these countries and their faiths have huge faults and want to play devils advocate all of the time.
