Filing K1 for the first time, some questions for the G-325A Form (I know they may not be needed anymore but i'd like to stay on the safe side)

1. Does my family name need to be in all caps like the way its filed on I-129F?

2. Applicant's last address (inserted attachment) outside the United States of more than 1 year.

Do I fill that the same address i filled for present address? Its where im staying right now do i write the same thing? ++ If so when do i write in "To (month) (year) " do i just write present time or .. im confused xD

1. Yes your family name has to be in CAPS

2. a) My US fiance didnt fill that on her paper coz she has not been outside the US for more than 1 year

    b) i)On my part of the form I filled in the same place coz thats where I have been for the past 1 year. ii) I filled in the part of "FROM" with the month and year of the address I could count one year back. I didnt fill in the part of "TO". We got NOA2 at the beginning of March 2017 with no issues

1) No, not necessary

2) Yes, the same address. Write the current date or "present", doesn't matter.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Based on other threads, it appears that the G325A is no longer required per the updated I129F form (April 2017).  A friend of mine is doing a K1, and USCIS told him he did not need to include the 325, but he is including it anyway just in case.  The new I129F instructions do not require it, but the optional checklist does still show it, however this checklist was last updated in April 2016.

Regardless, Good Luck!

Great news the G-325a is no longer needed if you use the latest form I-129F which is on the uscis website. The new form includes nearly all the questions that were on the G-325a. Your fiance(e) does not need to sign the I-129F only the American does. Don't forget the letters of intent to marry which need to be signed by both of you. Good idea to date them as well.

I send in the new form WITHOUT any G-325a
