Yeah, I see that VSC is processing April 4, 2016 and CSC is June 7, 2016. If everything goes well, we'll be looking at May-June 2018 for our approvals.

Hopefully I will get my approval before my flight to my home country, though I can travel with the NOA1 but it will be more better and with peace of mind having the actual green card to avoid extra scrutiny of the airport immigration. LOL!

I am yet to receive the Biometric letter. Any May Vermont filers received their Biometrics letter yet ?

This whole process is ripe for automation. The process should be as simple as each application having its own tracking number. Once filed the entire process should be driven from an online portal where an applicant can see the state of an application without relying on mail for communication.

Just looking for some clarification regarding the my uscis case status tracking. I have my NOA1 received may 20 dated may 15, still waiting on biometrics (california.) 

 

I'm trying to enter the receipt number into myuscis to track but it tells me my receipt number doesn't exist. I thought I read in this forum somewhere that it is the second number on the biometrics letter that you have to use, but then i see some people are tracking already before they have their biometrics letter?

@Smithbridge the valid receipt number comes from your biometric letter not from NOA1. Just wait for your biometrics letter.

We applied to lift conditions through CSC on May 6th, received NOA1 May 10th, checks cashed May 12th, bio appt letter May 15th, bio appt May 31st.

Here is what I found hope it helps! Got it from the uscis website!

The current transfer notice currently contains the following phrase: “CRI89 approved removal of conditions (I89).” That statement means that the biometric portion of the case has been successfully transferred; it does not, however, mean that the petition itself was approved.
