Donald Trump has spoken wistfully about his life before he became the President of the United States.

He told Reuters that he thought being President would be easier than his life as a reality television host and entrepreneur.

The President said: "I loved my previous life. I had so many things going.

"This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier."

President Donald Trump can’t seem to get over the Electoral College.

Considering that he is one of five presidents to be elected without a popular vote victory, it is perhaps inevitable that the notoriously insecure former businessman has spent so much time fretting over his margin in the Electoral College. This tendency popped up most recently in an interview with Reuters this week, during which the president interrupted a conversation about Chinese President Xi Jinping to distribute copies of a voter map with the areas he had won colored in red. Here’s how Reuters described it:

“Here, you can take that, that’s the final map of the numbers,” the Republican president said from his desk in the Oval Office, handing out maps of the United States with areas he won marked in red. “It’s pretty good, right? The red is obviously us.”

He understands that in the eyes of the people and the world he was not elected by the people. Regardless of the results, the majority of the people didn't want him to be president, and that must nag his overinflated ego. Moreover, he can't get anyone to give him the time of day in his own party and in congress. He has a weak cabinet, but that is the best he could do, given the limited resources that would agree to work with him. Can't win much more than that. Guy's a winner!

I don't envy his life style but look at the pattern of thinking:

Reform healthcare: Who knew healthcare was so complicated?

NATO: Who knew that our allies are such a vital part of our security?

Being president: Who knew this job was so much work?

Answer: most grown adults in America knew...but for the person who wants the gig so badly, the basics elude him.  This does not portend well for.the next 1340 days. Sad...please take one of my comeratve maps.

What is really sad is that Drumpf has turned out to be every bit the disappointment the MDRs said Obama would be when he was elected. It would be a laughing matter, if the future of our country's economy, security, and standing in the world did not hang in the balance.

In a way he is right. It's all Hillary's fault the electoral college went against the will of the people.
