Just another example of what I said in the united thread...they all suck, united has just been very unlucky I think. American is probably the worst, I'd say worse than united.

Strollers, singles or ones large enough for twins, are not allowed in over head compartments.

Correct, this woman was obviously not aware of that. However, the way they handled it, just as bad as united did.

It's Delta's turn next. Let's see what they would come up with.

Unfortunately the video doesn't show what happened earlier but I saw on FB on what happened earlier. Basically somehow she boarded the plane with the stroller, went rear of the plane to her seat. Bald flight attendant told her she dan't have stroller in cabin, the conversation escalated. While escorting her out, he decided to pick the stroller and pass her, then hit her in the face with the stroller. Yes it is her fault to bring the stroller in but there had to be someone at the jetway warning her not to bring the stroller in the cabin in the first place. They could have explained better she would pick the stroller at the gate again when they land. She is travelling with twins, most likely her first flight with the kiddos, crazy overwhelmed. She probably thought they would check the stroller to her final destination and with twins she was thinking she can't do it at the connecting airport.

Anyway there is no excuse for the FA to hit her with the stroller and then confronting the other passenger standing up for her. At least AA issued an apology immediately unlike United.

One wonders if this guy was more upset at the woman, the gate agent that let her board with the stroller, or the FA at the door that also didn't stop her.  This is no excuse for hitting her, but it may explain the frustration.

There goes my plans of saving money on a ticket by stuffing my daughter into the over head compartment.

There are always two sides to a story and just because one passenger appears upset in the video doesn't necessarily mean she has been wronged (I don't dispute something did transpire though judging by other people's reactions).

What definitely is incorrect is the AA worker goading another passenger to start a physical altercation, unacceptable behaviour.

It appears the passenger who stood up for the woman is in trouble for what he said to AA staff as he threatened them.

Having heard what he said it was along the lines of "IF you had done that to me I would have knocked you out flat).

Now that was considered a direct threat to that situation but I see it differently as it was a hypothetical response as that passenger hadn't been hit with the pushchair but merely stated what might have occurred if he had been the one in that situation.

Of course I doubt it would have happened to him as the AA wirker obviously thought he would show his bravery against a woman holding twins!
