So thrilled!!! I spent the morning here reading the threads and found a scan that showed my case approved.  I was in shock!  Checked on the USCIS website and there it was.  Good luck to all those still waiting.  Today was day 100 for me...depending on what date you go by!  I originally got the text message on 1/3 that the case was received, the hard copy letter was dated 1/11.  Hope this info helps some others.

Congratulations!!! Wonderful news, and I hope the remainder of the process is quick for you. :D

So you did not receive a text message notifying of approval for NOA2, but you did receive the NOA1 text? I've heard that this is a common issue, it just seems strange that some are notified by text/email and some are not even if the G-1145 form was submitted.

Thank you!  Yes, I originally received a text and an email with the NOA1.  I received no electronic notification today and the approval is showing as 4/20.

I know, I'm sorry!

Even worse I subscribed to this thread and just saw a notification that had "visa" and "approved" in it, and my heart stopped. Dang it! Need to not follow this thread =P

(Congratulations though!!)

Thanks again, hang in there! And I know it's easier said than done.  Only thing that was keeping me sane was my next planned trip 10 days from now :)

G-1145 is only for when USCIS accepts your case (what you would call NOA1). If you want further text and emails about RFE/Denial/NOA2 you need to create an account on USCIS website and tick the boxes for text and/or email notifications.
