I'm really stressing out now. I got my GC in June 2013 i was due to remove my conditions in 2015 which I did, we were financially really hard off this year and I applied with a fee waiver. I received the 1 year extention and that was literally it. Nothing else came in the mail when i called to get an update they told me vermont is back logged and i need to be patient alright.

Well time came close to my extention getting expired, still no answered so i made an info pass appointment. The IO didn't see the issue at first either so he made me do my fingerprints and gave me a stamp in my passport for another year. He then called me later on saying my application was denied due to non payment obviously the fee waiver got denied.

Now within 90 days of my stamp experation i applied yet again to get my conditions removed. They took the fees (money order) and i received another 1 year extention NOA letter.

I submitted the entire package along with an explanation letter of what has happenend (bascially the same story here)

Now i am terrified that they will still deny my roc. We are married have 3 kids and finally live a good life. This whole mess won't let me sleep at night.

Anyone has any tips what to expect. Do you think this is getting denied? I never had any intentions of not filing or anything, we just didn't have the funds at this time so i applied togethet with a fee waiver.

Thanks

I think you need to investigate this further... you should have received a notice of action that your fee waiver was denied, and that you would have to pay the fees. I don't understand how they managed to send you the NOAs/extension letters, but not the fee waiver denial or the decision to deny your application. Call USCIS and make sure you speak to a tier 2 officer. Have all your case numbers and try to make sure that everything is okay, and (most importantly) that you are not somehow in removal proceedings.  (which seems unlikely given that you have the stamp in your passport, but it is possible.)

If USCIS has referred your case to removals, you will need to appear at an immigration court, and you will need a lawyer.

I'm sorry this isn't more reassuring, but you really need to keep at this until you have some definite answers, as the "worst case scenario" is really not something you want.

Best of luck!

If you have applied at the VSC, it's going to be at least 11 months before you hear a thing, and probably more like 12-13 months.  I am part of the April 2016 filers group.  We have over 50 in the group and only 10% of us have heard anything.  Take Nightingalejules' advice, and call - just to be sure there isn't something wrong.  If you are within 30 days of the expiration date of your extension, make an infopass appointment and get ANOTHER stamp.  It sounds as if you are still legal.

I'm sorry this is tearing you up.  I can imagine it is really scary.

Best of luck.

We live on military housing our address that we lived at in 2015 was weird some places had it as road some as street no one could really tell us what the exact name is which led lost mail and packages multiple times it was always a mess. Time warner cable didnt service us cause they said its a business and not a residental address. So you see there was always something with this dang address. :/

2015 i got a 1 year extention when i went to the service center i got another stamp and extention the officer never said anything about removal processding surley he would've seen it on the computer especially when he called back later on when he found out what was going on?

My stamp is good til june 2017 i sent me other package i751 2 weeks ago and got the noa

I would hope someone wouldve told me by now about any removal proceedings or tge i751 wouldve been rejected automatically ?

Urg its such a mess

I am sorry to hear you are going through all of this. Most people here are also waiting. For me I have been waiting for 20 months, just now we got request for additional evidence.

I also suggest you call check everything is good, make info pass check everything is good.We got a lawyer and he said that from his 30 years expereience USCIS loses stuff all the time, and dont update their systems. He told me for address change to literally triple check they updated it.We r moving to another state in 6 weeks and he told us I MUST get a stamp from them acknowledging they updated our new address.Coz if they sent invitation for interview to old address and we dont show up we would get denied.

So yea,he even thinks the reason we got letter for evidence coz they lost mine I sent in 2015 because they pretty much asking for same stuff that we sent to them before.

Its been a long journey for all of us here on this forum.

Interesting -- how would you do this? Make an Infopass? What would they stamp to acknowledge your new address?

Yea I know its kind of tricky. So my plan is to schedule info pass last week of May,so I need to start checking the site now. Then before the info pass meeting change the address online.

Then go there show them print out of change of address,Im guessing when one changes online it give you some type of confirmation. So go there with that and ask agent to stamp or sign that it is updated in their system.
