It is normal. Give it some time. I believe you should be getting your NOA-1 in the mail soon, seeing how your petition went to CSC.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well Why Be Normal?

I wouldn't worry (I know, everyone says that) - you didn't get your petition sent back so you're probably OK - it did get forwarded to CSC so that adds a few days to the whole thing...

Hang in there.....

Hi All,

I sent my I-129 on march 19th and I still have no news at all, check is still not cashed...

Do I need to be worried? Or is this normal?

My fiance mailed out the petition to TSC via regular mail on March 24 and we got NOA1 in the mail on April 9.

I think yours should be on its way to you. I would want to know what is going on if there's still nothing by the end of this week.

We did sent it via USPS. (no prior)

I guess we will wait till the end of this month, and if there is still no sign from them, we will just get married in the next couple of months. And file for DCF.

We live together in Germany right now, but in oct he has to go back to the US...

We just want to be together and enjoy our lives together.

I am not sure if I understand correctly about NOA1. It comes in the mail and no notfication via email (my fiance didn't get email).

My fiance received it in the mail. Is it possible that yours is already in the mailbox at the address in the US (you said you two are in Germany right now)?

I'm just curious. If you plan on marrying in a few months, why did you file for K-1?

Best of luck to you both for whatever you decide to do. :)

I and husband did the same. We sent our I-130 on Jan 8 using regular USPS services. After a month of waiting, the check was not encashed and no NOA1. So, we decide to send another set of I-130 thru priority mail this time...and few days later, we got NOA1.

Lesson learned...it pays to send all documents to USCIS using priority/express mail.

My fiance mailed out the petition to TSC via regular mail on March 24 and we got NOA1 in the mail on April 9.

Definitely, no emails or whatsoever...unless, if you have the encashed check in your hand. You can look at the back of the check. The receipt # is written there. Use it to monitor your case online. The best thing to do, is sent any document to USCIS using USPS's services with tracking so you can ensure receipt thereof.

I also sent I-129F at about the same time March 13 to VSC, and they sent me letter about payment received, and that’s it. I call them and was told that application is still pending. I think only about it and my fiancée too.

Good luck to all of us.

3/13/07 - mailed I-129F to Vermont

3/16/07 - I-129F received

3/21/07 - NOA1 by mail, check cashed

5/07/07 - NOA2

TSC would not have it. They do not process K1s. They are forwarded to CSC. When you "call TSC" you are talking to a national call center - they rarely provide helpful inofrmation.

If you sent it UPS, you would have a way to track it, right? Has the check been cashed? It generally takes about 3 weeks to get the NOA1 but since you are not in the country, it would depend on where you had it sent and if someone is there to receive your US mail.

DCF in Germany makes A LOT more sense than a K1 IMO.
