Update Guys S.R was completed a few hrs ago. I received an email stating the following.

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly

Based on what happened to my SR, my EAD case status changed to "New Card is Being Produced" 3 days after I received that kind of response. Hopefully, yours will follow the same pattern. 🙂

Hey guys,

Here is my timeline :

4/10/17 -- Received by USCIS.

4/13/17 -- N0A1 Date

5/04/17 -- Biometrics appointment in Philly

6/29/17 -- Raised service request

7/14/17 -- Answer " Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

7/31/17 -- Raised a second service request

8/01/17 -- Just found out my case was assigned to an officer

It's been 114 days today :( - I really hope to get some answer anytime soon.

Congrats to all of the people who received their EAD/AP combo card. This definitely gives hope to all of us who are still waiting....

Hi A+S - We have pretty much the same timeline (2-3 days difference) including the 2 SR.

I called USCIS yesterday and the customer service rep reminded me the process can take up to 120 days - so I'm hoping to hear good news by next week since next week I will reach 120 days and you will too. I know this situation is so stressful but I think we can say that we are finally almost done waiting for the EAD.

Hopefully next week is THE week! :)

Hi April filers

Great to see so many of us are getting responses finally! I have a question for those who put in requests for EAD and got approved. Did you get notifications for the AP as well? And did you get the EAD/AP combo card or just an EAD card?

Thanks!

Timeline

Hello,

I am from Seattle. I have been following you all for quite some time and now decided to share my timeline and issues in my case processing as I feel like i am going to go insane soon haha. The matter is that i have not even received my biometrics appointment notice since filing on April 27, 2017.

04/27/2017 Priority Date, USCIS received the concurrently filed I485, I130 and I765 (Chicago lockbox)

05/18/2017 RFE (I130a supplemental form was missing)

05/26/2017 RFE response received by USCIS in Lee's Summit

07/11/2017 SR#1 raised via Tier 1 representative (biometrics notice that i have not received)

07/12/2017 SR#1 assigned to an officer for response (response due 07/28/2017)

07/28/2017 SR#1 assigned to an officer again!!! (they basically extended their response due date)

08/08/2017 INFOPASS scheduled at Seattle APC

I called the Tier 2 officers and they assure me the case is being worked on, but its so overdue. Day 97 and still no biometrics notice, no response to RFE or anything at all. I read some people have also had issues with biometrics but i am wondering if anyone can give me any more information. I wanted to request to expedite my case but am worried it can jeopardize everything.

I have no job offer, only a serious financial hardship due to spent savings, low credit card money, and the need to get a car. So i am worried to get RFE if i try to expedite. Or what if USCIS later uses it against my spouse's ability to financially support me?

Does anyone know, if i try to expedite, which category should i choose in my case when speaking to a rep on the phone?

Thank you.

Hi! I received my EAD/AP combo card yesterday, but my AP status is still showing as "Case Was Received." It is not uncommon for the AP's status to be stuck.

Having a job offer in hand is the only reason to expedite EAD. You can also provide financial hardship documents but you definitely need a job offer.
