No update on EAD after 91 days. And in light of court rulling yesterday, Persians (even Jewish Persian like me) are impacted. Probably they will halt processing our files.

Trump's March 6 order called for a blanket 90-day ban on people from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen and a 120-day ban on all refugees while the government implemented stronger vetting procedures. The court allowed a limited version of the refugee ban, which had also been blocked by courts, to go into effect.

 

it says refugee ban. It should not effect your case. I am at 112 days, don't worry it will come. I am still waiting even though there is no ban about my country.

Are you adjusting based on family? If so, you shouldn't be affected.

@DMLAHey, Just registered and trying lean how to use this page. I'm from VA/DC area as well. My case had updated to "ready to schedule " since 06/15. Still no updates since then.  No news from EAD so far:( 

 

My timeline: 4/15 mailled

Cashed: 4/24

fp: 5/30(walked in)

ref: 5/26

case is ready to scheduled: 6/15

I am a May filer from VA adjusting by marriage to a usc for more than 5 yrs,my timeline is as follows:

 

Package sent:   5/6/17

Recived at Chicago  Lockbox :   5/8/17

Priority Date:   5/9/17

Notice Date:   5/17/17

Bionetrics (walk-in):   5/30/17

 

No change since then and who knows what will happen after the supreme court ruling on the executive order yesterday!!

In the first stupid travel ban, it did impact family based adjusters till it was stopped by Dis. Court 9. this one will for sure does as well.

No don't worry about it. It's illegals that he is concerned with.... not going to be causing any problems for anyone who is in the country and immigrating legally  There is a lot of march filers with higher than 91 day wait times, a lot of early march filers still waiting for EAD/AP notices. Don't freak yourself out over it.

 Our timelines are kind of similar....hopefully we here something this coming month about the EAD.
