Try to stay positive, (I know easier said than done sometimes) I know for myself I was stressing so much and when we finally called and we were told we sent the wrong fee and that they were returning our package, I felt defeated. Although, we have been delayed a month now cause original package was sent at the beginning of March, I have faith in the process. We all need to try and stay positive and have patience cause all will work out 🙂

I know the wait is worthy, but still tired of the waiting game in my life. What can I say? We wanted to start this process a year ago, but my fiance's divorce took almost a total of two years before being final  So yep, used to it but still not liking it

Our case is quite similar, my fiancés divorce also took like two years before being final.

We tried to get married in my home country but beurocracy and limited time made it impossible, so here we are,back again on the waiting track 😂

Let's just have faith that good things never come easy. 😉 

I don't think we'll ever get used to it, some days are easier and others... Well they suck. One good thing I've learned through this whole long distance, you appreciate the little things more and don't fight  over stupid .

So I should be here saying I've already got my NOA1 or at least eagerly waiting for it... But NO.

 

I know this is a waiting game, but having a bit of a hard time already because I'm not sure what's happening with our petition in the mail.

 

My fiance sent it via USPS Priority Mail and the estimated delivery was Saturday (04/01). It actually arrived to the destination facility that day, but 24 hours early we got the dreaded "In Transit- Delayed" message that automatically shows up after a day non scanning a package.

 

It's been like that for 4 days already, no update whatsoever, which means it has been 'untouched' for 5 days. My fiance insured and asked for a signature, which the lady at the post office said it's ok even being a PO Box.

 

I know this happens sometimes, but this is starting to be too long. If it was me in the States I would have called them already, but I think we are waiting till Friday and see what happens (yes, I'm the impatient one and he's the cool one in this couple). Just the waiting is being hard because of the uncertainty of what's happening...

 

I didn't sign for an extra wait in this long process :/ Thank you, USPS! I guess my piece of advice for now is go for another courier...

my cousin's fiancee sent her package on march 24 and it arrived to Dallas on march 28, but it was delayed with the message in transit-delayed, finally the delivery it on april 6, i hope that they soon send the noa1.

my cousin could be a march filer but usps made the mess up.

i am march filer, my fiance used fedex to send our package. when i saw the deleyed on my cousin's package i am so glad that my fiance used fedex.

So I guess your cousin and me are pretty much in the same situation. Going to cross some extra fingers for her too

Hah. I just made my guy check his bank account first thing in the morning while getting ready for work and he says the check was cashed out yesterday (03/11). So it seems we are in the right path

I know what you mean, I do feel like our lives are in somewhat limbo at this point. Hopefully the process doesn't take too long and we will all be with the ones we love soon 😊

 

Oh and there's nothing wrong with crossing your fingers for luck. I knock on wood...aka my head for a wish of luck lol

I don't think there's any example for the new form yet, but the old one is valid until the 9th of June, so you can send that one if you have it ready and are sure they will get it before that date.

 

If you have seen the comments on a thread about the new form, people are kind of confused about the new process, regarding the G325A form. Still required or not? So if I were in your place I'd go with the old guidelines if I could.
