We are almost done with everything, I'm so excited!

So, for the boarding passes we just highlighted our names and destination because there is nothing much to translate except our seats and flight number. For the pictures, they were all in digital but we printed 6 with names, dates and location on the back. They are 3 pictures with his family, 1 with my mine, 1 of us when we started dating and one of last week with my engagement ring when he asked me.

We also have a proof of residency showing that we've been living together since August 2016 and since he is in the military he also has multiple authorization leave for when he was visiting me in Brussels. I hope that's enough, ahah!

We also highlighted the dates, since that's important info too and so it was consequent with the meeting within the two prior years statement.

Best of lucks! :)

Hello there! That is good to know you are almost done with everything. I am feeling excited for you too. But I am concern regarding how you print or prepare your photos, since ours was also digital. To what I know, for digital photos we should not just write at the back of the photos because the info you will write there will not get scanned by USCIS and so nobody will see it. and yes, photos with his family is a very good choice.. below is a screenshot of some detailed instructions regarding photos I thought might be a help.. :-)

I was referring to the dates in the boarding passes in my comment.

Also no, we didn't write in the back because we sent collage photos in a normal paper sheet with description.

Thank you so much! It feels good to be supported by people going through the same process!

I'm a bit confused... So those pictures were taken with our phones but we print them as " real pictures ", not in a sheet of paper and then we put them in a zip lock bag. They say " Tape them to a standard sheet of paper or place them in a zip lock bag so I think the text in red only works in the case you print them on a sheet of

paper or am I wrong? I don't understand where we should write the names etc if they are just in a zip lock bag?

That's the instructions we followed, saying we have to write on the back of the pictures

Don't worry too much about it. I've seen a lot of people doing it that way: printing 'real' pictures and writing the info in the back, so sure enough that's not going to be an issue, as long as they still get the right element of proof that are your pictures.

My fiance and me went through this kind of confusion and doubts regarding different points of view or instructions on how to assemble the package. We read people saying to punch holes in all the documents because that's the way they file things at USCIS. But we chose to just use a big paper binder because didn't want to maybe spoil nice official documents with the holes ( like his certified copy of the divorce decree was actually certified in the upper corner and a hole could have meddled with that). They accepted our package not problem, of course.

So I totally understand your stress, but everything's going to be all right :)

Thank you again, for everything. I'm not good to deal with the stress and that's definitely a lot for me. I even dreamed about the forms yesterday nights, ahah. I can't focused on anything but that. I can't wait to send it and start the waiting process

Hello there, sorry for the late reply, I tried to reply earlier but I couldn't get through because of the connection signal here was acting bad again, you know, Philippines internet sucks.. haha.. sorry to say.. Anyway, to be honest, I have been confused of that too.. My fiance had them resized to 4x6 inches standard size and printed two pics-each page. What I understood about the instruction, I thought they meant for photos with date and time imprint on it. Also I did print some digital photos of us to real pics and pasted two pics in each paste of paper and I will bring those photos on interview.. :-)
