Maybe a bit of wishful thinking there, with having all April approved in ten days? But sure everyone here is more than willing to please you ;)

Have a wonderful time visiting your fiance, and come back full of energy and, most important, patient

Getting closer, that's for sure :)

It's not about pleasing me. I was just trying to be optimistic and rooting for those April filers and even the march filers first.

I know all about patience as I've been through this entire process before.

Thanks for the well wishes otherwise.

Hope USCIS is productive this week

Yes!!  I will always remember the moment I saw the approval email notice on my phone.  And then I forwarded the email to my fiance...she was so excited!

I just called the NVC and the CSR said they just received our packet today. Our NOA2 was 8/10, it took 12 days for transit? He said they have up to 2 weeks to enter the case and assign a number. I will be calling every evening starting tomorrow . . .

That is good to know.  Our Approval was 8/11, which is a Friday.  Called today and no receipt yet.  Thinking maybe they did not send out package until Monday.  Very anxious to get interview scheduled!

Hello everyone,

I am a long-time lurker (I think I've posted once when the April forum first started). I have a NOA1 received date of April 10th and notice date of April 13th and I can't stop being anxious about getting our NOA2. Every time I see someone with a similar timeline or a timeline after mine getting approved, there is a sense of excitement that ours might be coming but also a sense of jealously about why we don't have ours yet especially that I live in California and mail shouldn't take that long!

Work has been super stressful (and I'm still at work at 9:30pm!) wishing that my finace would be here with me.. :(

I guess this is just another rant. Congratulations for everyone that have already received their NOA2 and I honestly cannot wait for ours!!!!!

April 5, 2017: I-129F Mailed

April 10, 2017: NOA1 RECEIVED DATE

April 13, 2017: NOA 1 NOTICE DATE (+email and text confirmation)

April 17, 2017: NOA 1 Hard Copy

Aug 28, 2017: NOA 2 Approval Date

Sept 1, 2017: NOA 2 Hard Copy

Sept 12, 2017: NVC Received (via email)

Haha thanks!  let me edit that. Yes it's Philippine time. It's the 23rd here already while I know it is just 22nd in US. Pardon my confusion I have been awake for 28 hours already when I changed our timeline 😁😂.

@LabOz good luck on your trip here! Weather is nice now after the typhoon. Atleast when. You have your Noa2 you will be with your beloved. I would have wanted to be that way. Earlier I wanted to hug Matt.

It's very good to know. Goodluck with the following things you need to do. Anyway, how do you get to call the customer service? Because I keep calling them and it only says the same thing (voice prompt/operator). How do you think I'd talk to a real person? Lol

Can someone tell me if the USCIS will update the case status online and text when they send out the NOA 2?

as i see, they update the cases seldom...from time to time people write that they found a hard copy of NOA2 in the mailbox, but the USCIS site is an old status

https://ru.usembassy.gov/fact-sheet/ not good for any Russian visa filers 😞

K-1 is an immigrant visa, and NOA2 is 4 months of validity ...we'll be scheduled not later than 120 days from the date of approval. K-1 always pass an interview only in Moscow.

Another question regarding the NVC, can the beneficiary call the NVC to find out the case number or does it have to be the petitioner?

Any of you can call. You just need to be able to provide them all the info requested.

- USCIS receipt number

- Date of Approval (not sure they ask always).

And when they have your case # they will ask for Petitioner and Beneficiary's names and DOBs. That's the sign you hit the jackpot with them.

Good luck calling. We are trying today too, since I've seen cases with the same date received and one that called late in the evening even got the number already. Fingers crossed... :)
