Hello everyone!

I am new here, my name is Lana and I'm Ukrainian so sorry in advance for my English 😀

On April 7th we got our NOA1 and I was really hoping I'll be with my baby by July but life sucks :(. Today I checked the official USCIS processing times and oh my God, in the end of May they were processing cases as of January 1st!!! 😲 It means that it takes them 5 freaking months to approve the case!!! I am freaked out, I haven't seen my boy for half a year already, and statistics are not giving me any hope...

Maybe somebody who applied in April has been already approved? Please show up and give me a little bit of hope that everything is not as bad as it seems to be 😩

Anyway I wish a good luck and tons of patience to everyone else who's waiting to finally marry their lovers!!

Hi Lana, welcome!  My fiance is also from Ukraine.  We are April 6th notice dates (April 3rd received), and also still waiting.  We're expecting good things soon!  Your fiance needs to make a trip to visit!  I just got back from a two week visit recently.  Keep the faith, it will happen soon!  Approvals are already rolling in for people with March 28th date, so it won't be long now.

Oh really Ukraine too? That is awesome, we're not alone in our case. Yes, we've been thinking about him visiting but we were hoping we'll get approved soon..

And that is really great to know that there are approvals from March, gives me the faith! Although I am completely confused now with the official site statistics and like what about the course of cases...

Anyway thank you so much for your reply, it really makes it easier when you realize that you are not alone in your waiting, moreover you are dealing with Ukraine too 😀

Good luck to you and to all of us!!!

You need to change your service center. It says Texas there, but I'm sure your NOA1 says it was sent to California, like 99.9% of K1 petitions. Actually, I stand corrected. I bet 100% of K1's go to California initially, regardless a few of them are transferred to other centers later on.

Check your info, because I'm sure that's why :)

Oh, and BTW... I'm 04/06 received date, 04/11 notice date.

Oh, and another BTW. That was bad news about my timeline, because last time I checked this morning it was 07/29-08/04

My NOA1 is April 17.  I am heading back to the Philippines mid-August to spend a couple of weeks with my fiancee.  I was hoping to have my NOA2 by then (actually originally hoping to be further along than that).  Signed up for e-mail and text but if i have to wait for regular mail I may not be home to receive it.  A little discouraged when the processing dates on the USCIS website went backwards from February 15 to January 1.  Don't know what is up with that as now the I-129F date for K-1 visa is showing January 1, 2017 for all servicing centers.  Strange?
