Just received my NOA1 today by text and email!  Amazingly it only took 3 days. :D   It's nice to know it met the bare minimum requirements.

Time to watch "El Hormiguero" to get your mind off things then hehe.

Congrats on your NOA1... Sure that was fast!  (Yep, like a ninja).

Long time not watching "El Hormiguero", hah :P Now I watch a different show at that very same time called "First Dates". Yep, exactly what the name says. Weird couples, cute couples... no way couples. It's funny when they say no to a second date because they are from different provinces and don't want a long distance relationship... According to them that can't work

Hi guys!!

I am also a April filer. I shipped my application on 4/5 thru UPS.  I got my NOA1 text/email on 4/12 hard copy on 04/17 . I'm super excited and going a little bit crazy. lol i'm not a patient person and i can't stop thinking about the wait we have. I have become addicted to checking the USCIS website to check the "my case status" and checking the processing times (even though it barely ever changes).  I know there's not going to be a change for a couple of weeks but that doesn't stop me from checking. lol :P

Want to wish everyone on the April filers GOOD LUCK!!!

Welcome @krizia and @JOA AND ROBERT. Good luck with your process and lots of patience

I see a lot of optimism there, saying things will take a couple of weeks before seeing any changes. More like a couple of months, lol :( But I feel you there. I'm always checking the scans and threads for previous months filers to see how things are progressing...

Good luck! We are all together in this.

Hello everyone! While waiting for noa2. What are you doing to not be bored? I was thinking I might start to prepare some of the requirements needed for the interview like the evidence of relationship. I would like to start organizing the documents so when the right time comes I wont rush and panic lol

Well, 99.9% of cases goes to California (CSC), so hope they pick up the pace a bit soon, but not the faster people right now

That's not an easy one, hah! Unfortunately unemployed right now, I have a lot of time to kill, but the things you can do beforehand are kind of limited.

So I have my checklist of documents my fiancé needs to send me after getting NOA2, and we agreed we are going to slowly proceed through it, one item at a time (weekends), so he's full ready when we are approved and don't lose precious time.

I'll start inquiring about how to get my birth certificate (certified copy and all that) in a couple of months, just in case it takes longer that 1-2 weeks.

Oh, yeah! I also started to go through our messages on FB periodically to select screen scans I can use later at the interview stage as proof or relationship... because it was really hard to go through years of messages at a time to get ready for the I-129F

But yeah, mostly planning ahead and waiting for the time to go by so we are closer to NOA2 (supposedly).

I don't really need to take care of a lot of things, since I live at my parents' and only planning on bringing clothes and my laptop with me for now (I have tons of books, but not much space really or willing to pay for the shipping... along with the fact we plan on moving at some point next year). So I basically need to take care of my savings and cancel the internet and phone contracts here, and not much more.
