In a few hours i pick up my husband from Amsterdam airport. Happy me!! Makes this waiting more bearable.

I really hope you get to enjoy this time together

As I said before I don't know how married couples like yours cope being separated. My wife took a trip to the US a few years ago on her own and for the month she was gone I was so lonely. All the sticky notes she left around the house were very helpful otherwise I'd be still trying to figure out how to use the washing maching.

Regarding the spreadsheet, I had questioned what date we should use in the timeline for our NOA1 and the common answer was the date your receipt came in the post. Reading a few threads earlier the correct date to use is the one in the received box on the I-797 NOA1 receipt. For me this will be March 21 the date they entered it in their computer instead of the 3 April when it arrived at my home. Knocks a couple of weeks of my timeline, not a lot but it all counts

Can't wait to see him in!!! Being without feels like being short on breath, so not complete. Very hard....

We are gonna do some traveling in Europe. Italy- England- Scotland -Isle of Man, since we are still around😊

First to a huge tulipfestival. He is gonna be tulipbaptized! All gonna be fun. His family and friends love seeing all his European exploring video's on FB.

So we are gonna use the prioritydate or the notice date on form receipt I-797C?

Its what I just changed mine to, brought my date back to the beginning of October instead of the end of the month. They go by the date they enter it into the computer not the date the postie delivers it to you, so makes more sense.

I wonder how long to get to approval stage, I got my NOF1 on 13 march 2017 nsc..I will appericate it if someone in her have idea on how long this is gonna take

My timeline is similar to yours and I hope to receive NOA2 sometime in October. NVC stage is next and assuming no extra requests it should take another 3 months before it gets passed on to the embassy stage which should take a further 3 months. We hope to have final approval and be able to travel sometime between March and May 2018 but it is different for countries with high fraud rates. For low risk countries the process is taking approx 12-15 months.

It's a slow process and it is very frustrating, I really need to calm down :ranting:
