Lol, Visa Journey e-mailed me to ask me to update my Timeline.   Sorry gang, case active 208 days, last update was May 23.......still waiting on an interview date in Texas.  I did not request advance parole or employment authorization.  Anyone have an interview in Texas lately?

Case active 216 Days.  No interview but the case inquiry on 9/12/17 said that our case had recently been sent to Houston office. Checking our case status still says Fingerprint Fee Received and no interview date yet. Processing times show they are working on August 2016 cases so I think we will be waiting awhile. I’m kind of hoping our interview date is close to June 2018 because then we will have been married for 2 years and can get 10 year geeen card. Then we can skip the removal of conditions paperwork and at the 3 years of marriage mark apply for citizenship.

Today we got our RFE letter "requesting additional evidence"  in the mail and it is slightly confusing us...

They are requesting a photocopy of the front and back of our marriage certificate.....we submitted an original marriage certificate already..

They want proof of a bona fide marriage:
-joint bank account, shared insurance, bills in both names, property deeds
We did not originally send any of this because we thought it would be brought to an interview..

We originally did not send in 2016 tax transcript (sent in 2015, 2014, 2013) because it had not been filed yet, so we thought that this RFE would be about that...
Should we send in the 2016 transcript even though it was not on the list?

Thank you!

Did you submit an actual service request and they asnwered it? I sent in one on August 28th and it's not even assigned yet. Funnily enough our case has been active for 216 days as well.

Yes I submitted a service request on 8/30/17 but that was during all Hurricane Harvey chaos here in Houston. We got an emailed response on 9/12/17 at 10 am. It was assigned to officer for response on 9/12/17 also looking at the case history.

Congratulations. Did you change your address and notify uscis? I think sometimes they send interview letters to people who changed their address without updating the case status to interview scheduled.
