Hey guys, sorry about the stupid question, but where can I check the status of my application besides the USCIS website?

Just as an FYI for anyone who is thinking about ringing to put in a service request today, I just rang, and their systems they use to put service requests through on is down.

Either by calling USCIS or tracker app

That might explain why no tier 2 call back at all today

Tried to get hold of a tier 2 officer twice today and I have been waiting for about twice as long as their estimate already

BTW, if you want to put in a service request, you can just use the website - I think it's the same

I noticed many people's AP status didn't update online when their EADs were approved, however we got emails and updates for both. The USPS app says we have two letters arriving from USCIS today, I think they are just notifying us of the EAD/AP approval we saw online Thursday

yeah i did know about that, I just feel like the people I've seen that put them in online have had to ring again after 90 days, where as the people who rang on day 75 get a better result.

I have news: at 82 days since applicaiton receipt, USCIS has granted a request to expedite my EAD based on a pending offer of employment. This expedite may only trim a few days from the 90-day processing time, but it means that I won't have to go back to this employer and delay starting work. Note: I applied for AP concurrently but the USCIS site doesn't show any changes in it, hopefully I will be getting a combo card.

 

Background: on Thursday I faxed them my offer letter and the printout of the e-mailed notice, with a brief cover letter containing the case info numbers, the selected expedite criteria, and listing the single item of evidence. The request was initially made on Monday-5 and I received e-mail notification on Tuesday-6, with the notification letter arriving in the mail today.

 

It's been almost 7 months since I was last employed, and I'm elated that this forced "staycation" will finally be coming to an end. Stay strong, everybody!

Getting a bit anxious here... I am just past the 90 day mark for our adjustment.

 

May 23 they approved the AP/Travel Document, but no word on the EAD.

Is this normal? Also we have yet to receive the AP card, so I am wondering if the EAD is just a bit longer in processing and a combo card will be sent when approved.

 

Any thoughts???

 

On a side note... our K2 visa was approved today so we need that travel document to go get our daughter

So today we got our letter in the mail about our EAD inquiry got what we expected "with in normal processing times" kinda already knew that but their letter said after 78 days to notify and submit an inquiry so that's what I did! Just following direction!

 

Today is day 87 so fingers crossed  for this week and for everyone else's EAD that still on hold and really close to 90 days. Especially for those that are over 90 day!! Let this week be a great one for all of us!!

when did you call to put in the service request, I've just rang today, as it is past the 75 day mark, but like you I'm not expecting much, as ther eare so many people waiting over 90 days for their EAD right now that I've very much aware its going to still be a while before I have my EAD in my hand.... but what I keep remembering is I am closer every single day to get that work permit, and sooooo much closer than what I was at the beginning of this process, and there has been so many times where i've just wanted to give up. But we are almost there guys! one step closer everyday!!!

Called USCIS today regarding my wife's EAD. Long story short, since we did get RFIE for AOS the time resets for AOS and all concurrent pending applications. The lady told that we should be expecting a status update within 75 days of RFIE response received date. If we don't get response within that time then we can do a service request. So we will be sitting tight until August 2nd.
