Thank you so much, and Congratulations again. my PD is 8/14/2017, I think it will be a hell out waiting. did you file any e-request to expedite the processing? or you just wait until they schedule your interview. looks like you case takes almost 12 months, did you file i-130 and i-485 together?

You're welcome. I filed the I-130 and I - 485 together and just waited. My case status never updated online from April of 2017 with the "waiting to schedule for interview" change so I was quite shocked when I received the interview notice in the mail.

Yup. Waiting is the name of this game. I don't there's any request to expedite the interview process itself. You can expedite receiving the EAD/AP if it's needed urgently but that's about it.

Like you said, every case is different. We waited a full 10 months from our PD to interview notice. Good luck!

Has anyone got his/her interview in NYC recently and can share  his/her experience?

Filed in March 2017 and my interview is only on May, 3rd because it got cancelled beforehand (Snow day)...

They sent me a new notice with much more documents to bring (essentially more financial paperwork) so I am really nervous....

Hey. I posted my experience from about 2 months ago.. it’s near the top of page 6. You definitely should have copies of all recent financial documents and proof showing you’re in a real relationship. It may seem daunting but it’s not too bad.

We took copies of join bank statements, credit card statements, and such.  I’m happy to share my cover letter for what we brought so you can get an idea.
