Potential RFE with dating app?

Hello,

We sent our packet some days ago and I was wondering if we would get a RFE.

We met on JSwipe (a Jewish dating app) and we mentioned that it's free and it's not a IMB. We also included the Terms of Service but the problem is that it doesn't directly say that it's free and not part of the IMB.

Terms of service: http://jswipeapp.com/terms-of-service.php

We realised that we should've included a mail from them saying that they are not part of the IMB, but do you think according to the ToS we provided we would get a RFE?

Thank you!!

02/08/2017- I-129F packet received

02/10/2017 -NOA1

02/18/2017 - NOA1 Letter

Waiting for NOA2

I also met my fiance on a dating app that is not an IMB. I did the same as you, included the TOS in my packet. I also printed the "About Us" page from their website which describes how the website was founded (it is also a religious-based site, Catholic Match). From what I've read during all my research is that as long as the site doesn't provide the match for you (such as setting up a particular couple for a specific fee), it doesn't constitute an IMB. I think especially being a free site and religiously based, you should be fine.

If anyone has information stating the opposite, I am open to standing corrected, but this is what I understand from my hours of reading blogs and various sites. Good luck to you!

Generally the TOS will satisfy USCIS as not an IMB; but having a more personal correspondence is helpful. You should be fine; but have to wait and see.

Thank you for the fast responses! I know that including the TOS should give us no problem, but when I read through the TOS itself it doens't mention anything that it's free. Could you read the TOS and see if it's good or not? What part in this TOS proofs that it's not a IMB?

It doesn't matter if it's for free or not. Many dating sites for example aren't for free, but that doesn't mean it's an IMB.

Can't help you with an answer on the RFE. But if you are worried about it, you may want to try and get that letter now instead of waiting for the RFE before getting it. It may take you a little while to get the respond you are looking for from the site. This way you are prepared, just in case you do get an RFE.
