Anyone else in Nebraska has seen their case just continue to move further and further away? It started in August 24th -September 3d or so, and now it's here. I know it's not an exact science and they still might pick up their pace a bit and it will continue to change,  but damn.

* Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between October 12, 2017 and October 28, 2017*. - This will put us at almost 9 months just for approval. Without considering possible RFEs. Balls.

my PD is : April 3rd

Mine is the same story lol ,  Mine started from October 5th - 15th , then November 11-27. November 27-December 13, and now  December 4- 20

its because how Nebraska hasn't moved past November yet ,

but don't worry, almost in December and once it starts processing faster , it'll go down hopefully

I'm hoping that's what happens, but just in case I'll start preparing emotionally for the extra 4 months or so. Sigh.

I called the number off their web site.  I talked to the tier1 who answered for a bit then asked to talk to a tier2 officer.  They put you through an automative service where you can enter your phone number and then they will call you back (mine was in 10 min).  Tier2 is way more helpful if you have not tried it yet I highly recommend it.

I called them last Friday and the tier1 office said the stuff that I already know. I will call them again and ask for a tier2 officer. Thanks for the info.

you can check it here on the forums :) at the processing times section on the top menu. Filing your timeline will give you an estimate, but it will keep moving since it depends on how slow or fast they process the cases and people updating their timelines. The USCIS website takes longer to be updated so I wouldn't trust them. There are also some apps you can follow to track your case and cases close to yours. Although try not to obsess too much because it can drive you a little crazy believe me, hah.

My PD is May 24th and VJ has my estimated approval between January 28 - February 28, 2018.

Did they receive an influx of I-130 applications before the price increases end of last year? I am wondering if after they get through December that things will speed up.

i just called and spoke to a Tier2 officer. unfortunately he just gave me the same exact info that the Tier1 gave, basically stating that TSC is processing Oct cases. he was just going off of the processing chart on the USCIS site...

sigh.... theres no point calling. I guess i just have to wait & see what happens.

They may not have any updates until the case is in someone's hands.  I would keep trying back.  Once someone is working on it they can tell you if background checks have been processed and so forth.
