I did my i130 application back in February 2017 and got an noa1 on February 27. But I did it with an immigration agency, I wanted to send photos but they suggested I do that when nvc contacts me. My wife is from the Philippines and we've been married since September 2016.

And my case was sent to Texas, justvworried they won't send me an RFE

and i I wanted to prepare for my nvc documents early, would I have to get a copy of both my W2 for last 3 years and also tax scripts or just either one?

Im hoping they go based on me making really good enough on my pay stubs instead of what's in my banks account too .

Wait... did you not send any photos at all??

I really wanted to set a bunch of photos along with my marriage certificate and i130 petition, but the immigration agency I went to recommend me to wait until I get to the NVC stage, would I most likely get an RFE? That's what's been worrying me lately

From the I-130 preparation check list, it is officially recommended to provide proof of bona fide including photos, joint name properties / bank accounts, information of children / rental home / insurance etc.

If you have a bunch of information showing your tie i think it is fine. Since i only have insurance with husband's name on it i provided at least 10 pages of photos

I also heard from a friend of mine who's been through this (his case was a K-1) he said make sure it's a fixed fee service from lawyer otherwise they charge you extra on RFE by deliberately delaying your case which means extra paper work for them.

If you want to attach additional information you can prepare a cover letter explaining about the additional information and they will just add it to the case. At least that's what we did and it was advised by the USCIS and some consultant from our local consulate.

I'm not an expert on this just wanted to share some opinion, hope it helps!

We did frontload the petition, we figured it couldn't hurt.  (Semi high fraud country) If they don't forward it to NVC then we'll send some more. and bring MORE to the interview. they will be swimming in corny once I'm done with them

Congratulations to the February filers that are starting to get approved :) I am really, truly happy for you guys.

Update!!

Hello everyone, i just received an email from National VIsa center, i have been assigned NVC Case number and invoice ID number.

the next step is to select an agent.

my question is Does it make a difference if i select my self as an agent?

also on the nvc website when selecting agent,  what should i pick from the drop down menu?

Petitioner or Applicant?

thanks

Those who were approved recently from Potomac, are you US citizens are permanent residence? The USCIS website has US citizens with the processing date of December 6, 2016.  UGH....
