I went to my psychological evaluation today, and boy, was that a weird experience.

The shrink talked to me for about ten minutes only. He asked basic info about me and my partner at first, and then asked me when, why and how I cut myself. He kept interrupting me, though, to say "you should say this instead". So basically, it was more of a coaching session than anything else... He was telling me what to say in case it gets brought up during the interview...

It truly was an odd feeling sitting there listening to him tell me what to say as that was not what I expected at all. But I guess that is good, though? I guess I should be relieved since it seems like he's going to clear me. After all, he already taught me what to say during the interview.

When do you get the results? sounds like you are good to go...hoping you can finalize your journey

Yay!! I just went and picked up my medical results this morning. They tried to deliver to my house yesterday but I was working. I opened the purolator package and there's the envelope inside (the one you don't open) along with a vaccination documentation for my records. So happy that I have that over now to just wait for my interview on July 19th. Nervous but excited!!! 🤗🤞🏻

Nice! I went to the same doctor on June 28th. Did they send you an e-mail with a tracking number to be aware when it would be coming?

Hey fellow Canadians, today I received this email. I was under the impression that the answer to sending packet 3 was receiving packet 4. Instead I got this:

Please be advised that your fiancé (e) visa application is being processed in our office, and upon completion, we will contact you accordingly.

In the meantime, carefully note that you are not required to send your Packet 3 documents, and also not eligible to book an appointment online until you receive further instructions.

We hope this information is helpful to you and thank you for your understanding.

Based on what you wrote earlier today, it's probably their polite way of reminding you that you're not supposed to send packet 3 or schedule your interview just because you're ready, but instead need to follow their instructions..

I guess, but no one ever wait for packet 3 as it most of the time get lost. And as far as the interview is concerned, it seems you are not supposed to be able to schedule it if they have not allowed it in their system. It is not the first weird email I am getting. I finally got an answer from NVC telling me they couldn't find my case, one week after I had my case number. When I called to ask what was going on, they had no idea and told me to disregard.

Hmm that's strange.... I haven't seen anyone else with that letter yet.  Did you send them an email (other than packet 3)?  I wonder if it's because you scheduled your interview without getting packet 4?  I do know for your medical (I have read from others) that proof of interview is not enough, they want the packet 4 printout as well.

The lady from room N said in 2-3 days but that I should try calling her today because it's possible that the results are in already. I really hope I am good to go, and I hope this doesn't get brought up in the interview.

I hope Juvy also gets cleared soon! I know you gotta wait til the end of August but time is going to fly by, I promise. You already waited half a year, 2 more months is nothing. Good luck!

I am sure all will be good for you...OMG lucky you to get to interview....I know time goes so fast so while we wait on Juvy's culture I get a procedure done on me to fix myself...See everything does happen for a reason. When I see her next both fixed and back to normal hahaha

Good luck and our prayers are with you

Yes I got an email about 3 business days after I had my appointment. My medical was june 26 and I was supposed to have mine delivered on Friday the 30th but it was delayed because of the holiday I assume :P

I would re-submit packet 3.  I read an older posting saying this happened to another Canadian and she re-submitted packet 3 after noticing her date changed and then she received packet 4 the same day.

Thank you very much for this piece of advice! Was it the same email though? To me they said, I am not required to submit packet 3 documents -_- , did it say that on hers as well?

Doesn't cost to try again.
