   He may do that. All of that is predicated on ending the sanctions that have been in effect since 2014. If that happens relations will improve. If it doesn't things will go south pretty quick. 

   

  The Russian economy has been devastated by the previous sanctions and Russia unconditionally won't be leaving Crimea which means there is no natural end to those sanctions. No doubt, most of the Russian interference in the 2016 election revolves around that. Clinton was basically an extension of Obama policy in that regard, while Trump suggested he would look at ending the sanctions. However it's easier said than done.

It started the day after he was elected . Just a coincidence.  Like the Hostages being released when Reagan was about to take over and the 2nd biggest joke ever was about to leave office.

History will be the great revealer. I suspect when Dumbo is looked back on in 20 to 30 years, he will be seen in the same spotlight as Jimmy Carter, and since Carter will be long gone by then, He will take his place as worst President in the modern times.
