I'm so excited for all the plans he has for Canada, Mexico and all of the other countries in the Americas! (I realize he isn't the only one who refers to the USA as America, just find it funny he didn't actually say the USA once in the entire speech).

In all seriousness, a lot of the things he said in this video I don't have problems with.

Not really sure about the "Get rid of 2 regulations for every 1 new regulation". That seems a little made up. Is there like a "book of regulations" somewhere in the government where they can scratch some out? What constitutes a "regulation". Are all laws regulations? That needs to be more properly explained. This is a serious comment, wondering if anyone has an idea of how that is really going to work realistically.

Basically once a regulation gets put in a book somewhere……it never gets deleted. Obsolete regulations that do not help and only hurt business.

I have no idea how many obsolete regulations are out there.

I agree with the idea of getting rid of those regulations. I just think the "Remove two for every 1 new" seems more of a campaign slogan than an actual plan. It sounds catchy and is attention-grabbing, but not really practical.

Shouldn't the plan just be to "Review the books and eliminate unnecessary regulations"? I mean if they aren't putting in new regulations, per his plan they won't remove any either. At least the way he worded it in this.

I agree. Also if you keep adding new regulations under this plan, eventually you will only have one regulation remaining. It is not a plan that will be able to continue indefinitely.

It will keep new unnecessary regulations from being added.
