statement that the Trump campaign issued proposing a total ban on the immigration of Muslims to the United States has disappeared from the team's website.

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," Trump said on his website on Dec. 7, 2015. "According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population."

The call sparked a furious backlash from opponents and claims of racism and xenophobia.

"Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine," Trump said in the statement. "Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life."

All of us knew all along that Trump has not the power to "ban all muslims". Heck, just keeping illegals out is too big of a task for our government, border patrol, etc. to accomplish properly.

it's the thought that counts right? nudge nudge wink wink

Kind of ironic that numbers 10 & 11 are together on the list.

10. Defund Planned Parenthood.

11. "I will take care of women, and I have great respect for women. I do cherish women, and I will take care of women."

I am pro choice, but dont really have a problem with the govt not supporting financially organizations that promote abortion. I also would be against govt supporting organizations with religious themes and don't support tax exempt status for churches. Espically the mega churches that generate millions in income

There are many low income women that rely on planned parenthood for proper care, abortions are only a part of what they do.

As for the churches, I agree 100%, they should not have tax exempt status.

honestly, pp doesn't promote abortion. antichoice supporters promote the idea that pp is primarilyy for and exists solely to perform abortions. that just isn't true. flag this post because, in four years, if planned parenthood and women's reproductive rights are trampled or defunded you will see a massive massive increase in a host of unwanted social issues we've been successfully working down the past eight years. look at the teen pregnancy rate decline for starters. look for these positive trends to reverse the more "small" government proponents insist their business if others' bodies.

churches should create nonprofits for their functions of charity and otherwise be taxed on income. i still believe that charitable organizations should not be taxed. a church or mosque isn't a charitable organization by default, not any longer.

Fair enough, I agree.

See we can agree on something. That is why I am the middle of the road man. I have views that span the whole road and part of both ditches
